معنی:
شخصیت نوعی یا تیپ یا شخصیت تیپیک نشان دهنده ی خصوصیات و اختصاصات گروه یا طبقه ای از مردم است که او را از دیگران متمایز می کند. شخصیت نوعی نمونه ای است برای امثال خود. برای آفریدن چنین شخصیتی باید حقیقت را از چند نمونه ی واقعی و زنده گرفت و با هنرمندی درهم آمیخت تا شخصیت نوعی مورد نظر آفریده شود. تیپ عبارت از ویژگی های مشترک افراد یک گروه است که نوعی شباهت و همبستگی بین آن ها را می رساند. اما " شخصیت" ویژگی های فردی و جداکننده ی افراد است. ممکن است یک فرمانده ی نظامی با این که اغلب ویژگی های مشترک نظامی ها را دارد، نوازنده ی موسیقی هم باشد. به علاوه در عین نظم پولادینی که در زندگی اش دارد بسیار شوخ طبع و شاد هم باشد. هرچه خصوصیات غیرمعمول و به ظاهر متضاد در رفتار و گفتار و ساختار زندگی یک فرد بیشتر باشد شخصیت او پیچیده تر است.
تیپ، به راحتی در ذهن جا می گیرد. یعنی در اولین برخورد بدون اینکه نیازی به تفکر و تحلیل باشد، می توان آن را در ذهن تصور کرد.
آدم هایی که تیپ هستند، خیلی راحت در یک یا چند خط تعریف می شوند و به طور کلی حضورشان در داستان، جاذبه چندانی برای خواننده ندارد. زیرا در وجود آنها راز و ابهامی برای کشف شدن نیست. کند و کاو در روح و روان چنین آدم هایی معنا ندارد.
آدم جاهلی، لباس سیاه و چسبان به تن و کلاه شاپو به سر دارد. پاشنه کفش خود را خوابانده و دستمالی در در دستش می گرداند. سبیلی کلفت دارد، لوطی صفت و قوی هیکل است.
این آدم، اگر به همین شکل در داستان تعریف شود، تیپ است. که خواننده با خواندن خصوصیات وی، می تواند کارهای بعدی اش را پیش بینی کند و می داند که باید توقعات مشخصی از او داشته باشد.
اما شخصیت، از این نظر با تیپ فرق دارد. شخصیت، آن دسته از صفات را داراست که موجب جدایی و تمایز افراد از یکدیگر می شود. به هر کس فردیتی خاص خودش می بخشد و موجب می شود که هر انسانی، منحصر به فرد و تکرار نشدنی باشد.
شاید پرداخت تیپ خیلی راحت تر از شخصیت باشد اما برای نوشتن داستان، باید بتوانیم شخصیت خلق کنیم. چرا که تیپ ها، همان آدم هایی هستند که همیشه در زندگی روزمره با آنها در ارتباط هستیم: پزشکی که سوار ماشین مدل بالایش می شود، به بیمارستان می رود و مریضش را جراحی می کند و علاقه ای ندارد که در مورد مشکلات شخصی بیمارش چیزی بداند. قصابی که قد بلند و درشت هیکل است. یک ساتور بزرگ به دست دارد و پیشبند خونی بسته است. موقع حرف زدن صدایش را درگلو می اندازد و هیچ احساسی نسبت به بریدن سر گوسفندان ندارد.
به عنوان مثال، جوان پولداری را تصور کنید که پدرش صاحب یک کارخانه بزرگ است و هر چه بخواهد، در اختیارش قرار می دهد. اگر این پسر را صاحب ماشین و موبایل به تصویر بکشیم که مدام با دوستانش به مسافرت می رود، یک تیپ ساخته ایم. اما فکر کنید همین پسر، هیچ علاقه ای به ماشین شخصی و موبایل ندارد. مدام به فکر تفریح و سرگرمی نیست. در اتاق خودش کتابخانه ای دارد که تمام وقتش را آنجا می گذراند. این فرد، دیگر ویژگی های تیپ را ندارد. دیگر آن جوان پولداری نیست که همه ما می شناسیم بلکه یک شخصیت است. درست است که پرداخت تیپ در مقایسه با شخصیت، از ارزش کمتری برخوردار است، اما تیپ ها می توانند به عنوان شخصیت های فرعی، در داستان قرار بگیرند که البته دیگر شخصیت نیستند. اما به هر حال در یک داستان، لازم نیست تمام افرادی که وجود دارند، شخصیت های خاص و غیر قابل پیش بینی داشته باشند. ممکن است به فراخور داستان، لازم باشد در جایی، یک تیپ داشته باشیم و آنجا هم آنچه اهمیت دارد، رفتار شخصیت اصلی داستان در مقابل آن تیپ است.
از شخصیت و تیپ، به شخص جامع و شخص سطحی نیز یاد می شود.
بلینسکی در تعریف « تیپ» می نویسد:
« تیپ یک " غریبه ی آشناست"،" آشناست" به این علت که خصایص و ویژگی های پدیده های واقعی را نشان می دهد و " غریبه" است به این دلیل که این خصایص و ویژگی ها در شخصیت فردی نوینی یا در تصویر نوینی از زندگی که حاصل خلاقیت هستند، تمرکز می یابند.»
رضا براهنی در کتاب « قصه نویس» در مورد تیپ و نمونه ی فردی می گوید:
« قصه نویس، ممکن است شخصیت خود را به عنوان یک تیپ انتخاب کند و با به عنوان یک فرد، یک تیپ تا حدی قبلاً در اجتماع به صورت آماده وجود دارد . یک مالک، یک دهاتی، یک مدیر کل بوروکرات، یک انقلابی و ... ، در اجتماع به صورت تیپ های مختلف وجود دارند. ولی انتخاب قصه نویس از این تیپ ها بستگی به نحوه ی تفکر و ادراک خود قصه نویس دارد. او ممکن است با آن ها رفتار " یک تیپ" را بکند و یا ممکن است " رفتار یک فرد" را با آن ها داشته باشد. به این معنی که ممکن است قصه نویس، تیپی را انتخاب کرده و او را همان طور که هست، نشان دهد. هر تیپی، موقعی که وارد قصه می شود، با خود، وسواس ها ، احساس ها و اندیشه های طبقه ی خود را به همراه می آورد و وارد قصه می کند.»
دکتر سیروس شمیسا در مورد تقسیم و تفاوت شخصیت به « تیپ» و « نمونه ی فردی» می گوید:« فرد خصوصیات مخصوص به خود دارد. خلقیات او همگانی نیست. باید با دقت او را شناخت و با حال و روزگار و افکار و اوهام او آشنا شد، مثل قهرمان " بوف کور" که شاید در دنیای واقعی هم مصداقی نداشته باشد. اما " تیپ"، نماینده ی قشر و صنفی از مردم و جامعه است. یعنی طبقه و گروهی از مردم همان خلقیات و رفتار را دارند. وقتی او را شناختیم مثل این است که هزاران نفر را شناختیم، مثل قهرمان داستان "حاجی آقا" نوشته ی " صادق هدایت". در " مدیر مدرسه" از " آل احمد"، مدیر مدرسه نماینده ی یک تیپ است، اما معلم یک فرد است.»
تفاوت شخصیت با تیپ: باید توجه داشت که تیپ با شخصیت دارای تفاوت است. ذهنیتی که یک فرد می تواند داشته باشد می شود شخصیت اما رفتار بیرونی که آن شخص دارد به نحوی می شود تیپ. برای مثال ما وقتی در مورد قصابها و یا درمورد راننده تاکسی ها حرف می زنیم در واقع در مورد تیپ آنها حرف زده ایم ولی وقتی به درون آنها راه پیدا می کنیم و از ذهنیت آنها آگاهی پیدا می کنیم با شخصیت آنها آشنایی پیدا کرده ایم.
در هر داستانی هم به تیپ نیاز داریم هم به شخصیت
تیپ؟ در مورد یک سری ویژگیهای مشترک در آدمها – تیپ راجع به یک ویژگی کلی در یک محل وسیع صحبت می کند ، حالا هر چه ویژگیهای مختص تری به این کاراکتر بدهیم آن را خاص ترش می کنیم و در گروه کوچکتری قرار ش می دهیم
به کاراکتر ویژگیهای منحصر به فردی می دهیم که از ویژگیهای کلی دورش کند و خاص ترش کند
ویژگیهای متضاد از گروهی که درونش قرار دارد مثل معلمی که از بچه ها متنفر است
بین تیپ و شخصیت مرزی نیست بلکه یک طیف وجود دارد . ویژگیهایی که به کاراکتر اختصاص می دهیم به شخصیت نزدیک می شود و ویژگیها تا بی نهایت هم می تواند ادامه داشته باشد
مراقب باشیم /با استعمال زیاد ویژگیهایی که به کاراکتر دادیم در اثر تکرارش او را به تیپ تبدیل می کنیم
در داستان به هر شخصیتی که وارد می شود باید در حد تیپ به آن پرداخته شود فقط به شخصیت اصلی توجه ویژه داشته باشیم.

تیپ، به راحتی در ذهن جا می گیرد. یعنی در اولین برخورد بدون اینکه نیازی به تفکر و تحلیل باشد، می توان آن را در ذهن تصور کرد.
آدم هایی که تیپ هستند، خیلی راحت در یک یا چند خط تعریف می شوند و به طور کلی حضورشان در داستان، جاذبه چندانی برای خواننده ندارد. زیرا در وجود آنها راز و ابهامی برای کشف شدن نیست. کند و کاو در روح و روان چنین آدم هایی معنا ندارد.
آدم جاهلی، لباس سیاه و چسبان به تن و کلاه شاپو به سر دارد. پاشنه کفش خود را خوابانده و دستمالی در در دستش می گرداند. سبیلی کلفت دارد، لوطی صفت و قوی هیکل است.
این آدم، اگر به همین شکل در داستان تعریف شود، تیپ است. که خواننده با خواندن خصوصیات وی، می تواند کارهای بعدی اش را پیش بینی کند و می داند که باید توقعات مشخصی از او داشته باشد.
اما شخصیت، از این نظر با تیپ فرق دارد. شخصیت، آن دسته از صفات را داراست که موجب جدایی و تمایز افراد از یکدیگر می شود. به هر کس فردیتی خاص خودش می بخشد و موجب می شود که هر انسانی، منحصر به فرد و تکرار نشدنی باشد.
شاید پرداخت تیپ خیلی راحت تر از شخصیت باشد اما برای نوشتن داستان، باید بتوانیم شخصیت خلق کنیم. چرا که تیپ ها، همان آدم هایی هستند که همیشه در زندگی روزمره با آنها در ارتباط هستیم: پزشکی که سوار ماشین مدل بالایش می شود، به بیمارستان می رود و مریضش را جراحی می کند و علاقه ای ندارد که در مورد مشکلات شخصی بیمارش چیزی بداند. قصابی که قد بلند و درشت هیکل است. یک ساتور بزرگ به دست دارد و پیشبند خونی بسته است. موقع حرف زدن صدایش را درگلو می اندازد و هیچ احساسی نسبت به بریدن سر گوسفندان ندارد.
به عنوان مثال، جوان پولداری را تصور کنید که پدرش صاحب یک کارخانه بزرگ است و هر چه بخواهد، در اختیارش قرار می دهد. اگر این پسر را صاحب ماشین و موبایل به تصویر بکشیم که مدام با دوستانش به مسافرت می رود، یک تیپ ساخته ایم. اما فکر کنید همین پسر، هیچ علاقه ای به ماشین شخصی و موبایل ندارد. مدام به فکر تفریح و سرگرمی نیست. در اتاق خودش کتابخانه ای دارد که تمام وقتش را آنجا می گذراند. این فرد، دیگر ویژگی های تیپ را ندارد. دیگر آن جوان پولداری نیست که همه ما می شناسیم بلکه یک شخصیت است. (
درست است که پرداخت تیپ در مقایسه با شخصیت، از ارزش کمتری برخوردار است، اما تیپ ها می توانند به عنوان شخصیت های فرعی، در داستان قرار بگیرند که البته دیگر شخصیت نیستند. اما به هر حال در یک داستان، لازم نیست تمام افرادی که وجود دارند، شخصیت های خاص و غیر قابل پیش بینی داشته باشند. ممکن است به فراخور داستان، لازم باشد در جایی، یک تیپ داشته باشیم و آنجا هم آنچه اهمیت دارد، رفتار شخصیت اصلی داستان در مقابل آن تیپ است.
از شخصیت و تیپ، به شخص جامع و شخص سطحی نیز یاد می شود.
بلینسکی در تعریف « تیپ» می نویسد:
« تیپ یک " غریبه ی آشناست"،" آشناست" به این علت که خصایص و ویژگی های پدیده های واقعی را نشان می دهد و " غریبه" است به این دلیل که این خصایص و ویژگی ها در شخصیت فردی نوینی یا در تصویر نوینی از زندگی که حاصل خلاقیت هستند، تمرکز می یابند.»
رضا براهنی در کتاب « قصه نویس» در مورد تیپ و نمونه ی فردی می گوید:
« قصه نویس، ممکن است شخصیت خود را به عنوان یک تیپ انتخاب کند و با به عنوان یک فرد، یک تیپ تا حدی قبلاً در اجتماع به صورت آماده وجود دارد . یک مالک، یک دهاتی، یک مدیر کل بوروکرات، یک انقلابی و ... ، در اجتماع به صورت تیپ های مختلف وجود دارند. ولی انتخاب قصه نویس از این تیپ ها بستگی به نحوه ی تفکر و ادراک خود قصه نویس دارد. او ممکن است با آن ها رفتار " یک تیپ" را بکند و یا ممکن است " رفتار یک فرد" را با آن ها داشته باشد. به این معنی که ممکن است قصه نویس، تیپی را انتخاب کرده و او را همان طور که هست، نشان دهد. هر تیپی، موقعی که وارد قصه می شود، با خود، وسواس ها ، احساس ها و اندیشه های طبقه ی خود را به همراه می آورد و وارد قصه می کند.»
دکتر سیروس شمیسا در مورد تقسیم و تفاوت شخصیت به « تیپ» و « نمونه ی فردی» می گوید:« فرد خصوصیات مخصوص به خود دارد. خلقیات او همگانی نیست. باید با دقت او را شناخت و با حال و روزگار و افکار و اوهام او آشنا شد، مثل قهرمان " بوف کور" که شاید در دنیای واقعی هم مصداقی نداشته باشد. اما " تیپ"، نماینده ی قشر و صنفی از مردم و جامعه است. یعنی طبقه و گروهی از مردم همان خلقیات و رفتار را دارند. وقتی او را شناختیم مثل این است که هزاران نفر را شناختیم، مثل قهرمان داستان "حاجی آقا" نوشته ی " صادق هدایت". در " مدیر مدرسه" از " آل احمد"، مدیر مدرسه نماینده ی یک تیپ است، اما معلم یک فرد است.»
تفاوت شخصیت با تیپ: باید توجه داشت که تیپ با شخصیت دارای تفاوت است. ذهنیتی که یک فرد می تواند داشته باشد می شود شخصیت اما رفتار بیرونی که آن شخص دارد به نحوی می شود تیپ. برای مثال ما وقتی در مورد قصابها و یا درمورد راننده تاکسی ها حرف می زنیم در واقع در مورد تیپ آنها حرف زده ایم ولی وقتی به درون آنها راه پیدا می کنیم و از ذهنیت آنها آگاهی پیدا می کنیم با شخصیت آنها آشنایی پیدا کرده ایم.
در هر داستانی هم به تیپ نیاز داریم هم به شخصیت
تیپ؟ در مورد یک سری ویژگیهای مشترک در آدمها – تیپ راجع به یک ویژگی کلی در یک محل وسیع صحبت می کند ، حالا هر چه ویژگیهای مختص تری به این کاراکتر بدهیم آن را خاص ترش می کنیم و در گروه کوچکتری قرار ش می دهیم
به کاراکتر ویژگیهای منحصر به فردی می دهیم که از ویژگیهای کلی دورش کند و خاص ترش کند
ویژگیهای متضاد از گروهی که درونش قرار دارد مثل معلمی که از بچه ها متنفر است
بین تیپ و شخصیت مرزی نیست بلکه یک طیف وجود دارد . ویژگیهایی که به کاراکتر اختصاص می دهیم به شخصیت نزدیک می شود و ویژگیها تا بی نهایت هم می تواند ادامه داشته باشد
مراقب باشیم /با استعمال زیاد ویژگیهایی که به کاراکتر دادیم در اثر تکرارش او را به تیپ تبدیل می کنیم
در داستان به هر شخصیتی که وارد می شود باید در حد تیپ به آن پرداخته شود فقط به شخصیت اصلی توجه ویژه داشته باشیم.
